A Quiet Eco Farm Resort in Laguna: Caliraya Ecoville Farm Resort

It was my first resort review for the year 2020 and little did I know it would be a difficult year for everyone. The Feng Shui experts and clairvoyants promised us that 2020 is gonna be a fruitful and lucky year (because of the double numbers that go with it) but we were all wrong. The COVID 19 surprised us and brought the world in total chaos. Amidst the pandemic, there are government issues to deal with as well. It is quite overwhelming and hard to take it all in that even if I had a lot of free time to write, I cannot come up with words to express myself.

I missed travelling so much and I guess it’s about time to share with you the resort we featured last March.

About 3 hour-drive from Manila, this quiet resort can be difficult to locate especially if you’re going to commute.  It is secretly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is surrounded by lush green forest.  It is a sprawling 21 hectare property with so much quietness that you can do your reflections and meditation without anyone bothering you.

I was invited along with the Buzzsetter team to have a full experience of Caliraya Ecoville. it’s a perfect place for a quick escape for those who are tired of the noisy traffic in Tagaytay.  Laguna has so much to offer it’s just that most of the resorts in Cavinti are off-the=beaten path types.

The resort is surrounded by palm trees

I cannot help but feel so energized. Other people find their peace through praying and going to church. In my case, I find it through connecting with nature. Imagination is important to me.  It helps when your mind is lacking that strength. A lack of imagination can shake your dreams.

The Dining Area

The Dining area

Their In-house menu serves Filipino food with a wide selection of meat and seafood.  I love the unlimited tempura and their amazing fried chicken. They also offer milk teas and special fruit drinks (coconut is my fave!)

It may look like a simple fried chicken but beats me, it tastes like your grandma’s special fried chicken recipe!

We had Adobo for lunch
